As avid users of Aputure lights in our own studio, we couldn’t be more thrilled about this exciting new addition. While the light hasn’t been officially announced and is still in development, here’s what we can share with you so far.
Introducing the Handheld Light Controller
The RGB panel light comes with a convenient attached device that allows you to control a wide range of light attributes, including hue, temperature, and saturation. Equipped with dials for precise color selection, this device is a game-changer. Although there isn’t much information available about it yet, we’re eagerly awaiting further details.
Revolutionary Color Picker Feature
One of the most exciting features of this new light is the color picker, which enables you to simply point the handheld device at any light source and instantly replicate its color. This is a game-changer for gaffers who need to match lights with varying temperatures. What used to be a time-consuming process can now be accomplished with just the click of a button.
Additionally, the light can record light changes over time. So, if you want to recreate a specific color change or a flickering effect, all you need to do is capture the sunset with the handheld device or point it at a flickering TV.
That’s all the information we have for now about this incredible RGB light. We anticipate a full announcement from Aputure in the near future. Stay tuned to the PremiumBeat blog for all the latest updates from NAB.
